Project Overview

The founders of Atem, an Executive Search startup working close with VC firms, needed a landing page website to launch their new company. The site had to make it easy for visitors to reach out to the founders for potential collaboration.

The Challenge

Atem was a brand-new company without an existing visual identity or assets, so we were really starting right at the basics. The client wanted to avoid a stereotypically corporate look common among VC firms, which required out-of-the-box thinking to create a distinctive design that wouldn't alienate visitors.


The process started with research of the top 20 VC companies to understand typical design language and space, and subsequently proposed several design directions. We settled on using an abstract letter 'a' as the background which nicely balances the left-side typography. Once the client was happy with the chosen direction, I created a fully custom, minimalistic Webflow page, including contact form, animations, and integrated Google Analytics.

  2. Subtle animations to emphasize the value proposition and create interest with minimal visual assets.
  3. Mobile-responsive layout, ensuring a great experience for all visitors.
